Do we have to beg for select card in union Bank with 1k mab account or they offer it on a normal request?

EDIT - I opened my 1k mab account. Branch gave an instant rupay select card. (infact they only had select card at that time). Half and hour process and I was able to use my card.

2nd EDIT (in Nov) - looks like they have stopped select for 1k mab. Infact what I came to know through staff is that they have mapped account variants with respective cards, hence you need to have that account to get specific cards.

SBI and Axis Bank do not issue Rupay Select Debit Card. Currently below listed banks are issuing Rupay Select Debit Card as per Rupay website.
