My AU Bank LIT Credit Card to AU Bank Zenith Credit Card Upgrade Journey

In December last year I applied for AU LIT credit card, at that time I didn't know about the LTF offering on employeer list here. I applied through Swipe-Up program, as my existing card limit was 5L they matched it and I got AU Lit Credit card with 5L limit.

Just after applying I saw the post here in which it was stated that AU gives LTF credit cards to Gov employees and Certain MNC employees (post link above).

I called CC and asked about upgrade, they denied it back then.

After Six months of card issuence i.e. 1 month back I called then again and raised a request for upgrade to Zenith. The CC Guy said that Zenith has charges 7999 + gst, I said I work in a company in your LTF list, he asked for the company name. told me to send an email containing my employee ID as attachment and he has raised a request for card upgrade aswell.

After a week I called them again they said they have not recieved any request, raised a request again and told me that they will revert back in 1 week. After this I forgot about it for a while.
Then after 2 more weeks I called them again and my tone was a little angry. I told them I have already raised request multiple times and you guys always say that after 1 week I will get a resolution but nothing happens. This time he gave me a SR(Service Request) number and again said within 1 week my upgrade will be done.

After 7-8 days I recieved an SMS

And next day the Beast Arrived.


P.S. I know it's not a great card but as it is issued LTF to me it is a beast. I can use it for Bank offers, Lounge access and Visa Infinite.

Will the priority pass be active till your linked AU Zenith CC is active or is it for some fixed years only?

Don't worry about it being the "best" or anything. It is a great card and in the world of frequent devaluations, it is a great deal. 😀

I think the priority pass would be linked to your credit card account and would be active till you close your card account.

did you send email for Employee ID from personal mail or official mail ID?

ps: I whave xcite ultra with 7L limit (my company was listed at that time).. planning to upgrade to Zenith now

2 months ago I changed to diff company which is not listed ... can I request for upgrade too?

@trixter Was your company listed A/Super A category? Does anyone know if they issue Zenith as LTF to all categories of companies in the list?

Depends on employer category and your compensation package. You need to send mail to creditcard.priority@aubank.in with your payslips.

It lowkey is a good card
- nice unboxing.
- People actually complimented this card (never had any compliments for amex or diners)
- visa infinite ( NO acceptance issues )
- decent offers on discounts and tap to pay
- 50% off upto 400 on BMS
- a PP!

If you are upgrading from existing AU card to Zenith, does it require 5L+ limit? Does it work if I provide other bank's cc with 5L+ limit for this upgrade?

The upgrade was granted for me though the existing limit was greater than 5l+

Not sure why there was so much fuss in your case. I wrote to them, got a call back within 24 hours. They said Zenith + is not offered LTF any other card I am free to chose. I said, I just activated 500 cashback for 3 months on my AU LIT, can I have both cards? To that they said no and asked me to write back whenever I am ready for the upgrade.

Supposed to be. They are higher cards. But benefit of LIT is that you can enable so many features by paying a fee.

Just check the features of both the cards and weigh the pros and cons for your needs and then decide

since how long have u been using LIT card?? can u share ur email template requested for upgrade (blur ur info / or DM me). I am waiting for 5000 bonus reward points to be credited this month .... will try requesting once again for upgrade

If your company is in the list just write to them saying you want to upgrade to LTF Zenith mentioning your company name.
