Ways to redeem Kotak IOCL points?

Dear TF Members,
I have Kotak IOCL Rupay Credit Card along with LTF Zen Card.

I have total 5343 points in Kotak IOCL credit card. How I can redeem this point? I have found no information on it on TF.

No option to redeem against instant voucher or cashback.

Right now Purchase of IOCL GV from Parkplus is more Benifical.

Kotak IOCL is Good only for 2% upto 200 Cashback on Grocery and Food Merchants.

If you want to do only Fuel Txns, then get Axis IOCL

The IOCL gvs are redeemed on ITPS machines only. If I'm not wrong.

And Xtrarewards are also given on GV redemptions.

However CC transactions don't give Xtrarewards.

But the value is very little of Xtrareward points.

The pattern I've observed is that busiest pumps (itna time nai hai)
And the least busiest pumps(itne grahak nai hai) don't like to take card payments.

It's the middle ones that are open for all things.

I heard the icici one takes minimum surcharge of 10 and only refunds 1%
So it's not good for transactions less than 1000

Company provides POS for every outlets right?

I don't know.

The only pump that have denied taking cards were in very rural areas.

Maybe they dont use the card machines at all since nobody asked for it and it's been dead somewhere In their inventory

It's here not rural It's Urban area 😅

Yes that is one of the Issue.
If you are swipping Cards then Do not Swipe on ICICI/Orange POS below 1k🤣

Otherwise for GV redemption this is best

If you have a scooter or smol bike it's not worth the hassle.

Rather buy IOCL vouchers.

Or use HP pay with BOB HPCL.

No joining fees have been charged.

Got standard response of 449rs annual fees which are waived off if spends are more than 50k.

Maybe it's FYF.

I did 1200 transaction twice with my kotak iocl in iocl pump with Paytm pos machine

I have not received surcharge waiver nor points

Already emailed kotak customer care they have not given any reply after 5 days

Please guide me how to escalate the issue

Kotak customer care is best in my experience.

I got call and email response too from them when I raised similar issue.

If you think it's been too long just give em another heads-up via mail.

It's weekend so non working days. Do note.
