Sealdah (West Bengal) railway lounge access

In west bengal, only sealdah (SDAH) has railway lounge access. Howrah(HWH) and Kolkata(KOAA) doesn't have this feature.

Occurance
It is available in sealdah main entry gate.
Use lift and go to 1st floor to access lounge.

Cards acceptance
ICICI card which has railway lounge features and IDFC cards, irctc co branded cards are accepted
Ticket is not necessary to avail the lounge.
( I have a local ticket of 5 rs when I have visited ,lol )

Food and ambience
Food is ofcourse hygienic and very tasty.

You have choice of veg or non veg thali.

Buffet system is not available unlike airport lounge

You will get complementary tea or coffe. Tea was of kesar tea
You will get 2 hours complementary to stay there and rest. After this you will be charged 50+ GST per hour .

Ambience is very cool and quite.

Chargeable food is also available. ₹200 for veg or non veg thali.

Kolkata has 2 stn, Sealdah & Kolkata while Howrah has 3 stn, Howrah, Santragachi & Shalimar
Entry fee for Sealdah is 100 for first 2 hr which is refunded if food bill is more than 500

I visited on Feb 2023 , no buffet system was there.
No I have not charged for the thali as I accessed through ICICI coral

Accessed this Sealdah lounge more than 10 time in last few months. Sorry to say but the service is very basic compare to Delhi one. Quality is average and the quantity is not enough for 1. Although some of the staffs are professional and provide extra rice if requested.

Bina ticket ka bhi ja sakta ho. They don't need ticket to enter..

I have seen many videos on YouTube saying IDFC First credit card is being denied by Sealdah IRCTC EXECUTIVE LOUNGE authority. Those videos were nearly 1 year ago. Can someone confirm if they are accepting IDFC FIRST Bank credit card for complementary lounge access now ? Thanks.

What are the privileges you got at free of cost ? Can you explain all the details kindly? It'll be very helpful for me as I want to visit there using my IDFC FIRST MILLENNIUM CARD.

I have also visited there last month through Bob irctc card.The reception lady was confused when I showed him my Bob card and then later she accepted it.Ambience was good & got complimentary tea.

Accessed Sealdah Railway Lounge yesterday using for 3 people using my credit cards. They did not check any names on the card. IDFC First Millennia, AU Zenith and ICICI Coral all 3 worked. Food quality was also better I than expected.
