How to convert Citi Rewards CC to LTF?

I recently got City reward CC with 30k/year spending criteria to avoid annual fee. Is there any way to make it LTF?

Sometimes through retention team they do convert as LTF when you probably will be downgrading to Rewards, but usually, they won't provide, and a freshly issued card can't be LTF as of now. 30k is tiny benchmark to achieve and I believe you can easily do that
