Devaluation HDFC Smartbuy Devaluation

Starting March 2024, only ₹1,500 worth of Big basket and Blinkit vouchers can be purchased in a calendar month via Smartbuy. This happened on my Infinia.

This limit is absurd for the most premium card from HDFC. I think the launch of Infinia Reserve/Galaxy is imminent. Otherwise, they would have kept a reasonable limit of at least 10,000.

20k still sounds a good limit. 1,500 is a joke for Infinia! I hope that this is a typo by Smartbuy developer and it was intended to be 15,000.

If you are buying any large appliance 20K hardly suffices.

Agree but compare with 1,500. Grocery voucher is needed every month but large appliances can be planned if you keep buying vouchers for a couple of months.

There's hardly any profit you'll make for the effort put in to it. There are other much better avenues to make such profits.

Fintos are eager to give their KYCs for a pack of Mentos. See here some body for 0.5% profit rotated lakhs .

I believe it just opens up the path for credit cards from other bank, who can offer better rewards program, hdfc is slowly cutting all benefits, i find they have started taking their customers for granted due to their current market valuation.

I faced same issue when I checked yesterday. You can still buy Jockey vouchers but at 5X.

Ya we can buy voucher but affiliate link was giving 10X points. There is discount 2.5% discount on voucher but 10X is better
