Diners Privilege to Diners Black Upgrade Requirement

I was recently approved for Diners Privilege Life Time Free credit limit 5 lakh (under the scheme in which they give it free for alumni from certain premier educational institutes in the country. How long should I need to wait before HDFC may give an upgrade offer to DCB?
I applied for this mainly for longue access

I have an FD with >4 lakh with HDFC and a salary account with monthly salary remittance of 1.5 lakh.

Please note my credit card spendings are minimal.

for DCP to DCB, mostly depend upon spend. U mentioned spends are minimal, its hard to get LE/CC upgrade. try to spend 5L in last 6-8 months and then ask for to get CC upgrade.

If u had 1.5L salary and 5L limit, u should have directly got DCB.
