I think while a/c opening someone may have mistook it as free. This is why I tend to not order anything when I open a/c digitally, not even passbooks. I don't have passbooks of most my a/c, let alone checkbook and lately debit cards I've only because now we use RP.

Only problem you will face is, in some banks they don't allow to change "Auto-debit" option for CC due payments, so if you have it on and can't turn it off or change source bank a/c, then that could be a complication. I'm saying this from experience, I'm having this problem in axis.
