Facing strange issue while re opening airtel payments bank account

I had closed my airtel payments bank account……. Now again I am trying to reopen with same number… And same aadhar and pan… But I am unable to open at airtel store and even online…..

I contacted customer care they are saying that I shud use id other than aadhar…. But airtel mitra app which airtel store uses…. Dont have option other than aadhar for id….



Anybody was able to open again airtel account after closing account…….?? How can it be done…..

Offtopic: I read in other forum that if we issue cheque book in Kotak 811 they cut 300 annual maintenance charges, anyone faced this? Most probably guy mistook debit + chequebook charges for annual maintenance charges

Ik man even I was confused even dc charges are 200+ GST

Maybe that guy was smoking some good weed and confused something else with annual charges

dream different debit card charges are 200 + 18% gst....i think cheque book is chargeable in this account...as you have to request it specifically

Yes its chargeable paid around 77 if I recall correctly so that's around 300 rupees ballpark

Poor guy took it as annual charges 🤣

Cheque books are chargeable in all accounts (except some higher variant ones)

i dont know why people will use chargeable chequebooks...when everybody else is giving free...hel;l...even axis gives for free...one per quater....

I think while a/c opening someone may have mistook it as free.

This is why I tend to not order anything when I open a/c digitally, not even passbooks. I don't have passbooks of most my a/c, let alone checkbook and lately debit cards I've only because now we use RP.

Also, those who are not able to re-open airtel payments bank a/c, airtel axis card work with any airtel payments bank account.

Also, I never got offer, I had to get it by calling CC. I also never get offer for gpay. I use UPI almost every day, but still no offer. Only apps which gave me anything were amazon and freecharge.

Yes I didn't have it.. I am planning to open now as I applied for Airtel Axis card. Some billers are not available on Airtel Pay section but available on Savings Bank so will transact with Bank instead via Thanks App using the card to get cashback benefits.

If you have any other AXIS Credit Card, then you will get it very easily just call them and tell them that you want Airtel Axis CC. They will issue without a delay unlike ICICI Cards.

Well as per my personal experience airtel wallet account is much more useful than airtel savings account. Although Airtel store people were also not able to convert my wallet to saving account but now I am happy as it is not upgraded.
Well I already have Airtel axis card(not LTF) which is more useful If you have airtel wallet account and I am able to recover its annual fees as I am getting around rs500+ cashback each month..

How Airtel wallet is more useful? Airtel Axis card benefits are same for both Airtel Wallet and Payments Bank right? Am I missing something?

I used to pay credit card bill using airtel netbanking interface where if you are wallet user you can pay upto 9000 by using credit card.
