AFAIK, Jana has the second cheapest Select DC after Union Bank but it's a hassel dealing with Union Bank employees, in some branches you get select DC like peanuts without even asking and in some they wont give it you unless you deposit $ 1 Millon with them.

With jana you complete your VKYC and just call customer care to place request for RuPay select.

Also, don't open Jana account offline. The same account will have 5000 MAB if opened offline, strange I know but that's how it is as per their schedule of charges PDF.

Yes I just redeemed Amazon Prime OTT, all RuPay Select DC perks are available, no issues. I don't think you can get add-on debit card, you will have to open separate account. But will call CC and update here

Edit: Confirmed with CC, no add-on facility in Jana SFB

Yes you can open it online (assuming your pin code is serviceable ofc). They will open "Regular Saving Account - VKYC" by default. This is the one with 2500 MAB there is another Regular Saving Account when you open offline account with 5000 MAB

Site is not updated, they jacked up the prices sometime back. That's what PNB desk told me when I tried to apply for one, I haven't tried placing a request myself though.

No referral mechanism. However CAUTION, open account only during business hours , their VKYV process is a bit bugged if you apply outside of business hours and then you have to chase email threads to get your VKYC done. Guess how do I know. After VKYC, wait for your account details, don't add funds immediately on the funding page.
