I am already a Preferred banking customer and the link is showing my account as Savings Max account and upgrade to Special Gold and Speciale Platinum.

Seems some more update needs to be done here.

Savings max is an account type while preferred is banking relationship.

You are having a preferred savings max account. Similarly one can have an Imperia Special Gold account.

Hope it makes sense

Never heard before speciale gold savings and platinum savings account. I thought SavingMax is the only higher savings variant that requires 25k MAB.

Saving accounts type is different to Account Program

you can have normal savings account, depending upon your relationship value it could be part of classic, preferred or Imperia program

I have two accounts
1) Normal Savings account
2) Platinum account

They both used to be Preferred until recently.
Because of my relationship value , they upgraded my relationship program to Imperia..
Now both my accounts are under Imperia and I have two Plat DCs..

That is to maintain your account type status to be either gold or platinum, you need to have that much FD.
If you are not able to maintain MAB in your SB account, you can maintain the status of account type by having that much value of FD, it is called FD cushion

But to get welcome benefits after certain period I.e 3 months and 6 months , they won’t consider FD cushion for gold and platinum accounts.
You have to maintain AQB of SB account only
