Quickest Roadmap for HDFC DCB Metal/ Infinia

What's the quickest way to get the HDFC premium cards like HDFC DCB Metal and Infinia? I am eligible for getting a first year free regalia gold or LTF Diner's club privilege.
I have heard that you can get an offer to upgrade to DCB metal despite not meeting the 3L+ Salary criteria if you take either regalia or DCP and spend a certain amount within the next XX months. I would like to know more about it.
I am planning to apply for the regalia just before the next international trip so that I can hit the spending milestones required for the DCB metal card. I have cards with better reward rate like the SBI Cashback and Axis Atlas, but I will be willing to give up on those to be able to get DCB/ DCB Metal.
I am 23 right now, with a 765+ credit score. I also have a salary account with HDFC bank for the past 3 months with a little over 1L salary credit, ITR will be more due to stocks and bonuses. What's the quickest way to get DCB metal?

Do a rough estimate of your possible expenses. In my case DCBM had breakeven before 8L spends. It would depend on expences you make. Also I dont think DCBM is a step closer to Infinia. Spend criteria is same for all cards, I am not sure about credit limits though.

Can you suggest what kind of spends you are doing on it? I have thought various spends which don’t include RP like rent, fuel etc but still 4L spends milestone is not getting met in (almost) all the quarters. (My primary thoughts are as long as I can get 1 quarter hit with 4 L I believe we are very close to break even).

And I don’t want to manufacture any spends for this purpose.
