Is Priority Pass going away?

I came across this video which says Dragon Pass has replaced Priority Pass in Canada. Anything similar might happen in India?

I read somewhere that priority pass was going to be replaced by cc itself.
That is you don't need to carry priority pass seperately, you can use your cc itself instead of priority pass.
Don't know when will this thing gonna start.

You are right.
Having priority pass right now is not all that useful - mainly because of Plaza Premium lounge removal.
I don't think it matters for transit via DXB or DOH but when you travel to and within Europe you will understand.
Even Hong Kong and airports in Japan.
As for priority pass being replaced by CCs, that's just so that you don't have to carry the physical PP card everywhere, and nothing to do with features/list of lounges
