Ways to get IDFC First Wealth Credit Card

Hi,

Is there any way to get IDFC Bank Wealth Credit Card.

I got IDFC Millennia Credit Card a year ago, but always wanted to get IDFC's higher variant Credit Card.

Did open a savings bank account with a 1L+ MAB to improve relationship. Tried several times through mailing customer care for and upgrade, but of no avail.

Since Wealth Credit is one of the premium credit cards on LTF criteria, it has been long on my wishlist.

Can someone please help me out in tips or tricks to attain the Wealth Credit Card or how to get a response from IDFC Bank since they are extremely dormant in responding.

At least for me it has not been. I tried to upgrade but was rejected. Customer care told me that net monthly income should be above 3 lakh for wealth card which is ridiculous.

But for new customers it seems it is much easier to get a Wealth card via card to card apply.

ohh. I thought it is easily doable but I guess not everyone can have it.

I am considering cancelling my Select card and then applying C2C with my just-approved Magnus. Any idea how old my Magnus will have to be eligible? Also any idea about the cooldown on IDFC's end? Someone mentioned that I could apply using a different mobile number, but they did not elaborate.

so it simple i have heard you can use different number and get wealth if you have old cc with 7lakhs plus limit, for me will try with infinia, the important thing is if we can close select and apply for wealth with different number, has anyone try that cause it LTF card and pancard will be same so hence the question.

Timeline of events:

• 02 Mar - I requested for credit limit increase as well as an upgrade of my existing Select card to Wealth.
• 06 Mar - The request was denied without reason and so I closed my Select card on the same day out of frustration.
• When I tried to apply online for the Wealth card a few days later I kept getting the message 'Something went wrong. Try again later.' on the first screen.
• 17 Mar - I tried again on but this time, with a new phone number and was able to get through the first screen without the above error.
• I filled up the details and was offered a Select card without need for income proof.
• I tried c2c next with my ICICI Coral card (limit 12L) but was again offered only the Select card on the next page.
• Then, I tried bumping up my monthly salary to over 3L net and this time the system offered me the Wealth card without need for income proof!!
• I went ahead and submitted the application with aadhar kyc half expecting it to be rejected.
• 18 Mar - I was able to complete video kyc and I also received verification call but missed it
• 21 Mar - The call came in again and the verification was completed.
• 22 Mar - Card was approved and I was able to view it in my mobile app even though I had used a different phone number!

So the different-phone-number approach worked and I was able to bypass the cooldown period as well as make myself eligible for the Wealth card with adjustment to net income.

I'm getting only the option of wow card. Any tips or hacks? I think regular cards are offered to some limited metro and big city pincodes only or to idfc account holders only?

What is the limit on your existing card? and what salary did you enter?

That's not the case. Even though I live in metro city and have idfc savings account, I'm getting only wow card option from both of my numbers.

Yup. Nothing works. Same old wow card appears every damn time.

And it made cibil hit everytime I cancel the application and go back to fill it up again.

I don't have wealth account but select account. Still forget select CC, not even Millenia is showing😂

If details entered are correct then it must be some kind of a bug in their system and you should try again in a few days. I don't believe they've plugged the loopholes this quickly.

Okay, I have a ICICI with a limit of 4.5 lakhs. But I already have the Millennia Credit Card.

Shall I close it and wait for cooling period and reapply for IDFC Credit Card?

can reapply just after cancelling the card using different number

Closed and applied within a month. But that was a year ago when IDFC devalued their cards.

- Request for upgrade to wealth declined.
- Request for closure success.
- Received noc.
- Sent mail request to them to allow me to apply new card, received response as 'go ahead and apply' (within 1 month).
- Applied and got Wealth in 2/3 days.
- No relationship with IDFC.

Again, this was a year ago - not sure how things turned now.

Note: Till today they're closing and opening select card in CIBIL, have to send them CIBIL report everytime to close again and after 2 months the process repeats.

Thanks it help a lot, a friend of mine closed this card just yesterday so I have asked him to apply using different number so let c wait for a month then I’m not in a hurry
