The UNI NX Wave card is finally Live !!

For anyone still waiting, if at all, lol... the Nx Wave card is Live now!! I applied for the Nx Wave card and the banking partner for now is SBM..

May be they are trying to do a 1 card and will have multiple banking partners in future (yes bank too have this card listed on their website).

Uni told me they have opened the application process only for few early waitlisted customer for now, so anyone wanting to apply it will be worthwhile checking the app. The application form itself had a few glitches and I could get the vkyc done only after quite a few failed attempts. Waiting for the KYC approval now which uni informed might take upto 24 hours! Asked UNI if this card was pre approved but they said no, credit check (TU) will be done & will be interesting to see what limit SBM gives!

The joining fee for the card is nil and the reward rate @ 1℅ makes it fall under the basic card category.

For anyone interested Will keep you guys updated, once & if the approval comes from "SBM"!!!!! 🤣

Nope, i gave my sister's city cochin and gave the card delivery address there. They dont check the address while doing vkyc, so its all good

Uni NX Wave credit card (unsecured) pre-approved for me by faaltu SBM Bank. It is free until card expiry/renewal which is currently 2028 for me. After that, there will be a card renewal fee of "up to ₹999" which will be communicated before card is about to expire. They gave 60K limit which makes it useless as most likely use for it for me was buying a high-end gaming laptop from USA since it is so overpriced in India due to customs duties and taxes.

Earlier, I was a user of their Uni credit line card. Only good feature is 0% forex with unsecured card.

Other lame benefits: 1% cashback on merchant spends (fuel, rent, wallet & international transactions excluded), a slightly higher reward rate at the faaltu Uni Store (which is like CRED store ) and brand gift vouchers (but core brands missing like Amazon, Flipkart)

Limit and card no started showing after 24 hours. I also asked them about Yes Bank Uni card. They said currently only SBM Bank unsecured one is being issued and I can't change partner. I asked Uni to close my loan/credit line now that I have credit card and they said it can't be done.

Even though they say renewal fee up to 999, but it is free. I got it confirmed via email. So it's LTF only.

Approved now and the limit is 5.25 lakhs. Highest limit on my other cards is 5.5 lakhs. Wait was long but satisfied with the onboarding process. No cibil hit as of now

The limit YES Bank is giving on their cards makes them more like a NO Bank !

They keep declining me for a CC despite holding a Yes first account & high ticket car loans close to 8 digit figures for years with 0 bounce .. Bunch of Jokers ! RM is clueless & helpless at the same time it seems ….
