Same here. I think people with active physical debit cards are charged 300+GST and People without active physical debit card are charged replacement fee due to incompetence of bank staff.

I am still unsure about the forex markup on this card. Someone said 0 forex on this but not working for me so can't confirm.

Maybe I should get Rupay JCB Platinum card instead for forex. But this has better value otherwise. Damn. Life is hard man.

Why are you so confused? Over the years, many people have said it’s zero forex, and now Pragati card has been confirmed too.

More benefit - SBI RuPay JCB Platinum Debit Card there is no TCS reflected under Section 206CQ in Form 26AS. This means that the spends done on SBI RuPay JCB Platinum Debit Card is unsuccessful in tracking foreign remittance and thus even forex markup fees was not charged.

For online txns it does not work for me at all. So I don't know if it'll work offline too.

Online, it doesn’t work on all JCB-accepting International websites. Even with the SBI RuPay JCB Platinum Debit Card and other RuPay JCB Credit Cards, it doesn’t work.

It only works on very limited websites online. In fact, even if an international website accepts JCB, it still doesn’t work.

Offline International POS/ATM is a different thing. It will work.

Check yono or NetBanking. Card bin should start with 3538.
