Existing card closed at midnight. Applied today at nearest branch (not home branch). He accepted the application and said that he issued the card.

I just realised I need to change the address on my account details to newer home (the one in the Aadhar) and then apply for this debit card. I think, it will be a mess when I do both at same time..

1st change the address. Otherwise if it's undelivered it will be sent to the branch from where you will apply the card or home branch. Then sbi will charge ₹118 extra for this.

Yes I will. Though the old address is my aunt's home where we were staying as tenant. Anyway I will change the address first.

Today I went to apply for address change and debit card. Both done through one application form. Only Aadhar xerox copy was needed extra, no photos or PAN was asked. The banker said he will apply for RPP, if I am eligible it will be approved and I will get card in one week. Signed a voucher for ₹354 as well as charges. Let's see..

Don't know. Applied yesterday. Showed in yono app today. On tracking in NetBanking it's showing not dispatched yet. Generally sbi debit cards get dispatched in 2 days after card generation.

I deactivated my existing debit card too before applying for new.

Unfortunately, we don't. We have to check from our end.
They use indiapost, so 7-8 days.
