Surely, I will use it. I also have a PNB RuPay Select card. Last year, I used the lounge access at Kolkata and Malaysia, and I plan to use it again this time. I just hope the SBI RuPay Pragati card works as well. If it does, I can avoid forex charges, and additionally, there is a 25% cashback offer on JCB card POS transactions.

So I went to my home branch to apply for the Rupay Pragati card. I filled out the form, wrote Card type RPP at the top, and handed it over to the manager. After waiting for 5-7 minutes, my number came, and the manager started grilling me. "Aapka Purana Card Kya Huaa?" I told him it was lost and permanently closed. Then he looked at the form and asked, "Ye RPP Kya Hota Hai Re Baba" in a funny tone. I replied, "It's the SBI Rupay Pragati Platinum card😀" He asked, "Ye CARD Kaiko Chahiye, Aur Bhi Bahut se Platinum Cards Hain " I said, "Mujhe Bass Yahi Chahiye" He signed the form and told me to go to counter number 4. The person there asked how long I'd been a customer (10 years, btw), and without further ado, wrote some SR NO type thing on the form, put it aside, and confirmed, "Your card application is done." When I asked if it was the RPP card, the attitude was real: "Yeah, it's that card." Now, let's see when the card arrives. Can someone tell me when I'll get the application confirmation message? I haven't received it yet. And how many days will it take for the card to show up in Netbanking?

Check NetBanking or yono. Within 2 days, it will be visible in card section with 3538 bin.

You will not get any confirmation sms.

I tried to find this but no luck i could not find anything like category or segment. Further i logged in net banking and checked segment there and strange its showing "you have given your account as no for segmentation"
