Icic rupay platinum card can be only issued by customer care. Call them and tell them to issue card. If they reject tell them to take a service complaint request about this card. After that you will see virtual rupay Platinum card in i mobile app and you will receive physical card in post.
Then it is important step. Never set ATM pin for new card through imobile app or through atm. Only use that card for online transaction. For online transaction don’t need pin. If we generate pin then issuance fees will be debited and old card will be automatically blocked.

By this way you can use your existing visa card plus rupay platinum card. For salary accounts both cards will be free

For new customers - Axis republic salary account and easy access salary account holders will get this card by default.

There is no website but icici by default issues rupay platinum card only if you ask for rupay cards

The charges (issuance and annual) are NIL for Rupay DC for all account variants.

I have raised the request for the same, will update as soon as I get. I believe it should show up in iMobile in 1-2 days from now.

So, I checked Net banking / iMobile there was no service request raised. I called again and this time I asked to connect to Senior officer, he also confirmed there's only 1 Rupay DC. And regarding POS and ATM limits he told me that you can increase those, let's see what's the max.

P.S. Now I can see the SR raised. So, call again until you see the SR in iMobile/Net banking. 🤷‍♂️

Usually icici only have platinum variant as told by my branch manager.... They dont issue that nornal yellow one....

So, I checked Net banking / iMobile there was no service request raised. I called again and this time I asked to connect to Senior officer, he also confirmed there's only 1 Rupay DC. And regarding POS and ATM limits he told me that you can increase those, let's see what's the max.

P.S. Now I can see the SR raised. So, call again until you see the SR in iMobile/Net banking. 🤷‍♂️

3. ICICI BANK

Icic rupay platinum card can be only issued by customer care. Call them and tell them to issue card. If they reject tell them to take a service complaint request about this card. After that you will see virtual rupay Platinum card in i mobile app and you will receive physical card in post.
Then it is important step. Never set ATM pin for new card through imobile app or through atm. Only use that card for online transaction. For online transaction don’t need pin. If we generate pin then issuance fees will be debited and old card will be automatically blocked.

By this way you can use your existing visa card plus rupay platinum card. For salary accounts both cards will be free

Go to bank account section in call and select talk to phone banking officer and request

Charges- 150+18% gst as per phone banking officer...

For new customers - Axis republic salary account and easy access salary account holders will get this card by default.

For existing customers- you can either upgrade online in netbanking or call customer care for issuance on

Intial funding no need. It will automatically close after 1 year if we don’t do kyc. So 1 year we can loot amazon. 100*12= 1200 rs profit

Equitas bank issue RuPay Platinum card & Zero balance account:

Thanks for the list. I wish to add Indian Overseas Bank too. They charges 150rs+GST for issuance and 150+ GST annual fee for Rupay Platinum Debit card.

True af. Only when I connected to Senior officer, the SR was raised for me. They think the customer is a fool! 🤷‍♂️

I was told zero charges. Don't know what's going on with ICICI. 🤔😂

Lot of other banks like "Abhudaya Bank" offer R plat too, but they will avoid to do so by saying "chip shortage". Actually BOB had told me same when I had applied for it physically.

2nd easiest way is to get BOB virtual card.

At least in my opinion. Axis was very tricky, as you might remember, the one @Extrovert🌃 got wasn't even usable online even though it was plat version.

Need to be very careful.

As I see until now, BOB is the best option out of all to get Rupay Platinum. Second best would be AU Bank.

He chose atm chip card... There is also separate option for Rupay Platinum card.. Which dont show for everyone on netbanking... So you have to call customer care or branch visit....

Bob is also good option.... Plus Au is currently rocking in terms of offers and cheapest along with icici rupay platinum.... And I heard card quality and design is alao very good

Swiggy offer is 20% off upto 100 once per month per card on friday....
