For new customers- you will get Rupay platinum card by default on online digital account

For existing customers-

3. ICICI BANK

Icic rupay platinum card can be only issued by customer care. Call them and tell them to issue card. If they reject tell them to take a service complaint request about this card. After that you will see virtual rupay Platinum card in i mobile app and you will receive physical card in post.
Then it is important step. Never set ATM pin for new card through imobile app or through atm. Only use that card for online transaction. For online transaction don’t need pin. If we generate pin then issuance fees will be debited and old card will be automatically blocked.

By this way you can use your existing visa card plus rupay platinum card. For salary accounts both cards will be free

Charges- 150+18% gst as per phone banking officer...



4. AXIS BANK-

For new customers - Axis republic salary account and easy access salary account holders will get this card by default.

For existing customers- you can either upgrade online in netbanking or call customer care for issuance on

Bob is also good option.... Plus Au is currently rocking in terms of offers and cheapest along with icici rupay platinum.... And I heard card quality and design is alao very good

Swiggy offer is 20% off upto 100 once per month per card on friday....

Yeah, I'm not finding it too useful except when I dine out.

I don't have any CC that gives 5% on dining out and axis/HDFC dining programs are just pure bullshit, cost of me eating at their partner restros exceeds cost I spend on buying monthly groceries. Who will do that to get 15-20% discounts?

Also, zomato cc occasionally has bigbasket and blinkit offers, sadly blinkit doesn't work here.

This I really doubt, because jan dhan accounts were compulsion for all banks, and no bank will offer rupay plat for that so they have to have basic yellow jan dhan rupay card for issuance too.

Google, each bank has series bin list.

Check yours. Tally it, if it matches then all good.

Usually icici only have platinum variant as told by my branch manager.... They dont issue that nornal yellow one....

YEs the last 3 ones are gemstone cards... And 3rd one is smart shopper one..currently holding smart shopper visa platinum... So let see I get 2nd or 3rd... My branch manager also told that icici by default issue platinum card....

Those gemstones one are quite pricey...


And mine account can only have mine and mine plus card... Its mostly useless account...

But they charge around 25rs +18% gst for using amazon pay offer on fridays and also swiggy friday offers... Due to this I closed my account with them...

NSDL bank 25+GST charges already removed from April month, NSDL send official notification to everyone. No charges debited from April month.

2) RuPay Platinum debit card (ICICI customer support told this is RuPay card) by default you will get RuPay Platinum debit card.
Everyone got this RuPay Platinum debit card, when you apply through customer support or offline branches etc

3) RuPay Platinum debit card (SmartShopper customers/ Silver color card)
4) RuPay Coral debit card (RuPay Platinum)
5) RuPay Rubyx debit card (RuPay Platinum)
6) RuPay Sapphiro debit card (RuPay Select Wellness card)

Note - ICICI Mine account holders is not eligible for RuPay card.

Any difference among 2-5 as all are Rupay Platinum? 👀
And how to know which one they issued between 2nd and 3rd?

Can you please confirm the following workflow?

1. While applying digitally for the advantage savings account, should we opt in or opt out for Debit Card?

2A. If we opted out in Step 1, can we still opt for RP physical card from BoB World?

2B. If we opted in Step 1, can we again request for RP physical card from BoB World?

3. If we generate virtual card and then opt for physical card, will both these cards be carrying the same number?

4. If we request for physical card from BoB World and then followed by virtual card generation, will both these card be carrying the same number?

NSDL bank 25+GST charges already removed from April month, NSDL send official notification to everyone. No charges debited from April month.

I think they got lot of account closure due to this... I myself closed 3 year old account due to this
