PayTM UPI Lite is now available for all

Just open your PayTM app and check for UPI Lite option, click on it, setup and use.

My PayTM app version is v10.23

You can find UPI Lite in 'UPI & Payment Settings', 'Balance & History' options and on Home page.

also upi lite enables pin less transactions for transactions less than Rs.200

If I enable PayTM UPI lite and when I scan a small merchant who uses PayTM wallet as well UPI, from which wallet it will be paid by default - PayTM wallet or UPI lite wallet or will it give option at time of payment?

It will give options. You can select desired option before making any payment. If amount is <=200 then UPI Lite will be available. You can send money using UPI Lite to Merchant QR, Personal QR, Mobile Number, UPI ID, Bank Account etc.

No. We can only load money to UPI Lite from the bank which is linked to UPI Lite.

My UPI Lite is linked with my Paytm Payments Bank account in my Paytm app. I can add money to my UPI Lite using my Paytm Payments Bank only.

Thanks. I don't have UPI through PayTM but with Gpay. If I have to take UPI lite in PayTM, should I first have to take UPI from them. Then only I can create UPI lite? Because for me it is not working when I try to activate UPI lite in link bank account screen.

Yes. Because we can add money in Paytm UPI Lite using Paytm UPI linked bank account only. Your bank account should support UPI Lite.
