Noobie: Is Citibank India different from CITI USA

I was researching USA credit cards. Came across three main - Citi, Amex, Chase.
Got confused by the threads in this subforum. So most probably they are?

Yes different entities with different types of cards
Suppose card name if match also the reward structure varies across countries
Apart from citi and Amex you can take stanC too one of their card is a great deal for UAE market but same card in stanC India is just a card
