Joining fee charged without activation

Recently got indusind pinnacle, haven't activated the card yet. But bank has charged joining fee on the card.
Can the bank do this?

Congrats! If you want you can still file a case for misrepresentation. As long as you haven't activated the card, you're not a customer. No customer >no service >no due.
It's clear that they were trying to mislead you. Though it's not worth the hassle.

Both axis and icici generated my 1st bill around 50days after activation, and indusind can't even wait 15 days. Haha

Would have filed, if have been a lawyer etc. Don't have the time and power to deal with these folks.
