Has anyone been able to get an Indian Bank Credit Card using the online portal?

Planning to get a Rupay Select Card (annual fee 250 from 2nd year, waived off on spends of 50000). But I don't think I have the patience or the energy to visit the branch (they accept C2C for offline applications).

Also, Do we get points for UPI transactions?

It doesn't matter. Only a good CIBIL score with credit is required. Keep in mind that if your age is below 23 then you might not get highest credit limit reported in cibil+5% as a credit limit.

A person under the age of 23 who had an ICICI credit card with a 2 lakh credit limit was issued an Indian Bank RuPay Platinum credit card with a credit limit of only 30,000 rupees.

Is upi spent through rupay cc considered as spends for card fee waiver criteria in all banks?
like indian bank has 50k criteria and I spent by upi will annual fee waive off?

I don't think any PSU Bank is issuing credit card without bank account or income proof.

Yep as it's a spend done by the same card account through UPI.

Okay guys tell me sometime. So my dad is 64 of age or something. What if I apply on behalf of him? Since he already has an Indian bank acct for many years, are they gonna do kyc and all?
My father doesn't even know these kinda stuff so if they do kyc and ask if he applied for cc he is not gonna be able to tell yes and stuff.
What trouble am I gonna be in future for this?
