Hi, IDFC has started to upgrade from Select to Wealth, easily by Card to Card (other card should have limit abv 4lk), just share your other card statement, and they will upgrade your existing card within a week, had to send other card statement to IDFC Banker <banker@idfcfirstbank.com> and they processed the upgrade quiet smoothly.

I approached. They increased the credit limit afer submission of my salary slips and bank statement. But they denied for upgradation of card from Select to Wealth

I spoke to cc customer care and they confirmed it should be 5 lakh!!

Customer care are not aware , it’s 4 lakhs
Many here in TF got wealth by upgrading limit to 4 lakhs

Nope … now they are not giving upgrade with 4L limit.
I have 4.6L limit (Select), they still asked for salary slips and bank statement (and then rejected my upgrade request). This happened 3 days ago.

Just few days back , someone I know got an upgrade from his classic card to wealth , his limit was first increased to 4 lakhs and then card was upgraded to wealth

Hi..I closed my select card in Feb23. Any cooling off period for applying for wealth? As of now after I try for the application the page shows error. Have opened an account now and now requesting RM. Let's see. Any suggestions are welcome.

Cooling period is generally 4 to 6 months!! You can try to apply for cc with different mobile number.

Just ask for the card upgrade. As a reference, Attach 3 salary slip and bank statement of salary credit account. If you’re holding any other card with 5lac plus limit then attach a screenshot of the limit page also.

Sent my Salary Statement. I get around 97000 per month in hand but they only increased my Select Card limit from 1.48 lakh to 2.30 lakh. Didn't issue Wealth Card. though I keep around 4 lakh in IDFC saving account too and my cibil is 793

Thanks to the group! I was able to upgrade from IDFC Select to Wealth card and received the card today.
Process followed:
- Sent email to banker@idfcfirstbank.com regarding card upgrade, on which they suggested to first increase the credit limit and then they will proceed with card upgrade.
- Shared the required documents and within 3 days the credit limit increased to 5Lac.
- within next 3 days, the select card was upgraded to Wealth.

Yep! That’s carried forward. I can see that in the next month bill statement.

Idfc bank denied request for card to card basis. I m using infinia card limit is 15.50 lakh.

Please suggest.

If you can get infinia card with 15.5 lakh limit, just submit your ITR. Surely your ITR would be high.
