How to get a lifetime free ICICI Sapphiro credit card?

Is there a way to get Sapphiro credit card LFT? I hold Mansister united Visa Platinum with an 8L limit.

They called me after few days of new card delivery and told me that i can hold one variant of rubyx only either visa, rupay or dual variant version. Then said as your new card is delivered we have raised request to close old cards. I tried to convince them to not to close old cards and even made some excuses but they didn't listen and raised the closure request.

I even tried to cancel the cancellation request by calling customer care and email but it didn't work. My card was closed next day.

Sad to hear this. I read somewhere on this forum that to avoid such things, you shouldn’t pick calls from ICICI for a few days after you request variant change.
Even if you pick up the call by mistake, you can tell them you are travelling with your active card and new variant is at home or something else. This might prevent it.

I gave them this exact reason that i am travelling with my new cards right now but they didn't listen.

I finally got the Sapphiro LFT.

I sent an email to customer care requesting LFT, and they said I need to spend more than 6L to get LFT, and my last year's spending was 6L on my existing ICICI cc. The conversation was still going on, and they sent me the card.

Confirmed via email and its LFT.

Can you please share the sample request email you sent with their reply as I also want the card and I already have Apay and Coral credit card
