How many Rejected CC Applications you have?

So Far how many banks rejected your applications, does they ever accepted your application after few months or years?

Mostly i was rejected by idfc, 4 times in 2 years, but 3rd year i got card under 30 Sec after vkyc!

Axis rejected that Gpay benefits card saying I already have similar(Airtel) card

That’s it & all other banks accepted my applications & issued cards

Once for RBL
Twice for Axis
Twice for ICICI
Twice for IDFC

All of these were in 2022 before I had at least 1y of credit history. 0 rejections since then.

I've 13 credit cards (and have closed 8 other in past).
Been rejected only once - by SBI even though I was an existing cardholder of them.

I don't have the count on rejections, but I keep applying once a month / quarter. Latest rejection is Axis Neo. 😁 Latest acceptance (after being rejected) is OneCard.

icici (because i didn't know about cooling period , applied for another as soon as card approval)
Hdfc tata neu plus(came to know from TFC that getting core card will be difficult after getting co-branded from HDFC so didn't complete office verifcation wantedly).
kotak ( due to internal policy)
