Critical illness rider with term insurance

I have a doubt regarding insurance.

I'm thinking about buying term insurance and I came to know about something called a critical illness rider. So my doubt is

If I add the critical illness rider to my term insurance and I get one of the listed illnesses and make a claim, can I still make a claim for a critical illness if I get a different one later?

If anyone knows about this, please share your thoughts. It might help others too.

You mean to ask if suppose you have 1cr cover and a critical illness is detected, you will get 1cr and after some time another critical illness is detected, you will get one more 1 Cr and so on? Am I getting the question right?
