if your first SBI card is Cashback then you hope for decent limit else not.I got my sbi cb last week with 1.6l limit. This is my highest limit on any card. I had hdfc millenia with 1.5l as the highest limit before this card
It is kind of. I had sbi simplyclick before this for several years with 20k limit. They gave it to me when I was a student. I close that card 3 months ago. So currently cb is my only sbi card.if your first SBI card is Cashback then you hope for decent limit else not.
My first SBI card was cashback card only but they gave 20k limit even though I have cards with much higher limit. Its 1 year old now and no LE. I have mailed PNO multiple times but they just say that it can't be increased at this moment.if your first SBI card is Cashback then you hope for decent limit else not.

SBI is extremely notorious for giving measly limits on its cashback credit card... people getting CC limit of 20-30-40k whereas they have other cards with limit in lakhsIs SBI giving decent credit limit on cashback card currently. I think it is better to not activate it if we get 10-20k limit..cibil wil suffer due to utilisationUsing Cashback card since 15 months with the initial limit of 10k. I am using around 20-30k every month with that card. And my SimplyClick card's limit is 200k.
Even after sharing my salary details of 100k, they are not increasing my limit saying internal policy. And they are not giving shared limit also... Weird algo!
Even if I use full 10k also, my overall utilisation is around 2-3% only because of other loans & credit cards. So no issues with credit score.I think it is better to not activate it if we get 10-20k limit..cibil wil suffer due to utilisation
