Axis Airtel Card cashback blunder.

I recently got Axis Airtel Card and on generation of statement, I realised that any bill payments done on Airtel App, be it Airtel bills or others, is being counted under 25% category. This means that there is no way to tap into Rs 500 monthly utility bill payment benefit as of now.

Refer to the screenshot below. The only payment in this month was for my electricity bill of Rs 1595 and cashback shown is Rs 300 whereas it should have been Rs 159.5.



Fellow community members, I would request you to keep above in mind while getting this card or wait till Axis settles these reporting issues with Airtel.

Yes. Rupay 100 rupees is better.
But isn't it only one transaction per month. If I pay gas bill, I cant use it for any power bill/mobile recharge, correct?

Once per card per month limit is for ₹100 cashback. If you've unutilized cashback after doing small recharge/ bill payment then you can use that card again to get the remaining cashback out of ₹100.

Received latest Axis Airtel credit card statement. This time not received any cashback for Bundl Technologies merchant. For last statement, PNO didn't even replied after sharing all proofs that Bundl Technologies transactions were done on Swiggy for food orders.

Order through Cred Pay. It shows correct merchant name for Food delivery i.e. BUNDL TECHNOLOGIES not Instamart one Bundl Technologies.

There is no minimum order amount for cashback on Axis Airtel.

Electricity bill :free in karnataka.
Gas :125-150 rs less on 1k.(100rs on 509 rupay +25rs on 500 on az gv). I find rupay 20% offer can beat this card easily for small to medium bill spends upto 1-2kpm

TBH, you dont need this card.

Yes, the invite is lying in some corner in the airtel app, thought of applying many times due to FOMO, but not applied as I can't justify holding it at present.

Buy 500gv separately at 5-10% add then pay remaining 500-100 from rupay

Then there's something wrong @SpiesCan'tCatchMe is doing. Check again if the merchant name is showing in capital letters or not. Txns through Cred Pay should definitely get cashback.
