Try doing upgrade again, savings max won’t be there in the available list of options..
You will only see gold and platinum..
It means you are now currently on savings max

Just upgrade the dc from mobile banking.

but the platinum DC is supposed to come with the upgrade, no? Do I have to manually logint o netbanking and upgrade DC? In that case, would I get charged for the plat DC since I'd be "upgrading" the DC.

You need to manually apply for it and no charges for it as you have savings max

Bro, how long did it take to get the conversion done to savings max? I tried doing this yesterday (18/12/2023) and recived a confirmation sms in 1 hour saying accou t upgradtion successful. Tried logging to mobile banking today and still no changes showing. Still shows min bal 5k (which is my existing a/c requiremnt). Also after conversion,how long until we get the new debitcard and stuff?

To verify, tyr to re-upgrade .. it will show MAB as 25k , discussed like above

That is to maintain your account type status to be either gold or platinum, you need to have that much FD.
If you are not able to maintain MAB in your SB account, you can maintain the status of account type by having that much value of FD, it is called FD cushion

I was maitaining this much balance to get my Infinia then.. now all done and dusted.. moving on from HDFC..
