Standard Chartered Application processing procedure

I applied for Smart Credit card in online . gave my mobile number and verified the OTP.

Then the application got stuck , then on next day got a call from Sales person from SCB , they asked me to verify few details and do KYC which will come to my mail from Standard Chartered.

Then after 10 min i got an OTP , they asked me to verify that , I have done that also.

After 1 hour , i got the below mail with application number.

Thank you for your interest in 526 - SMARTCREDIT CARD PRIMARY. Your application has been received and review is in progress.

Then after that I got a call from the sales person saying that i will get VKYC mail but I waited for yesterday fully and didn't get it.

Can someone let me know the below 2 things ,

  1. Is my application approved , as I came to know from Sales executive if we are eligible only it goes from 1st stage to Aadhar KYC then to VKYC.
  2. Does Standard Chartered does VKYC , if so after how many days we get the VKYC mail from applying?

If I recheck my email box for SC emails then I got card approval email within 8 hrs only. My analysis says I got card approved based on 3 things
1) my MNC company offers salary account with StanC but I don't have any savings account with StanC
2) I waited and applied to this card once I see there is no cibil enquiry listed for last 6 months for me
3) NTB

Considering that I don't have any major card requirement in the next 6 months, I would keep the CIBIL enquiry clean and try again in June next year.

Good.. you ticked all the criteria as per the perceived SC algorithm..
It helps other card seekers as well.
Did you get any email confirmation from your work email? I am guessing you didn’t provide any income docs.. thanks

Considering that I don't have any major card requirement in the next 6 months, I would keep the CIBIL enquiry clean and try again in June next year.
Me too .. this season’s hunt for CC is coming to end for me also…
Will try in the next season… actually not many to acquire now

I am surprised I am not even asked any salary slip or any confirmation from my office email id. I am assisted by single lady who keep calling me for different steps of this process.
First she confirmed me that I applied and asked me to do e-kyc.
Then again she called and verified my filled details are correct.
Then again called and asked OTP over call and told me I will receive Vkyc link and complete it.
Then again called after 1hr to check if I completed vkyc and got any message about vkyc completed. I said I completed but no confirmation received that I completed vkyc.
Then in evening got welcome to SC email :)

It seems this is all normal 'funda' in case of SC for everyone.. except for your evening email from SC... you did receive it and many didn't ..that's the only difference

Ye Mera sc smart card approve ho gya, then it's Activated also 2 days ago, but I still didn't get my physical card. Any idea usually kitne din me deliver hota h ? And how to track my card shipment?

Shukriya, It got blocked too 😅. i did 50k transaction and they blocked my card after successful transaction for security reasons 😅 . As per @paresh22 suggestions , I am waiting for a call from them as I don't have valid customer care number to call them. I tried 39404444/66014444. But these numbers doesn't work.

SC customer care number: 01166014444 / 01139404444 .... Apply with STD code and it will work... I had contacted them day before yesterday and it worked.
 
I tried this one too, but couldn't get a way to connect to customer care executive. It was asking me to create a pin, which I already created through mobile app but again it was asking me to create. So thought to stop there.
It will ask for T-PIN which is Telephonic PIN for verification purposes. It will either ask for credit card details or T-PIN so you will have to enter credit card details for authentication. Later request customer care executive that you want to create a T-PIN so he will route your call to IVR for credit card authentication and will prompt you to enter your new 4 digit T-PIN after successful validation of your credit card details.

Thanks It worked for me and got my card unblocked.

I have one question. I applied through cashkaro where I got 2500 Rs. as cashkaro bonus, but over there it's mentioned it will be first year free. When I confirmed it over call with customer care, she said it not first year free as per our system and you will be charged 499+GST in next billing cycle.
Now in this case with whom I should connect??

I can't confirm regarding Cashkaro as I do not apply any cards through Cashkaro. Better email to SC and have a written confirmation regarding your credit card charges.
 
Those who have been approved a Standard Chartered credit card recently... Can you please check your application approval email regarding MITC documents? Have you got a general MITC PDF which contains charges or all credit cards or is it a specific MITC applicable to your credit card?
