That's why I just don't like autopsy.

Has happened to me when my sip autopsy missed by some rupees and I was charger a hefty penalty for my sip.

Autopay pe charges to scam jaisa lagta hai. Ek to paise nahi hai fir uske upper charges vo bhi itne zyada jise koi bank employee ghar aaya ho autopay ka paise lene but humne diya nahi.

Reading last 10 replies, regarding how someone missed payment because couldn't kept enough balance and blaming bank to not follow the rule set already there. Then follow up replies are also like not you but bank is at fault and how can they charge us?

It's like my mistake is usual and I should not be fined for my mistakes. These are banks not your parents who will bear whatever awfulness of your life you throw at them.

I hit straight. If you don't have enough money to pay back or poor enough to keep exact amount of it, please don't use credit cards.

My reply can hurt many but truth is truth. Banks are service and service has set of rules and expecting you should not be charged for your stupidity puts a question mark on your own ability to keep things in check.

Same thing bhai when we expect zero balance bank account with all premium digital services.
Each account carries a basic expenditure for all private and PSU banks, which needs to be recovered some or other way to keep the company afloat.
Freebies won't last for long and someday taxpayers money would be used to write off these losses.

Yeah, people wont understand this fact ever that they are actually axing their own foot. To save Rs.500, 10X of tax money will be doomed.

I am against this zero balance acocunt. It shpuld only be for lower income groups and students and only 1 bank account across all banks be allowed as Zero AMB/AQB.

Where to find the credit card bill payment TXN in z@v0 app?

Open the Zavo App and Go to the "Cards" Section and tap on the repayment section where Credit Card linked in the app. Tap on the Card, It should open a detailed view of the card usage. “Transactions” or “Statement” tab usually found below the card balance or due amount, Where you may see a list of recent transactions, categorized by date and merchant. It shows only your linked card transactions.

I agree with you on that part that OP is responsible for maintaining more than enough funds.

Infact anyone should maintain a surplus of 2-5k at least, in case they get charged debit card fee or anything else unexpectedly on autopay accounts.


But 4999 also seems like an outrageous amount for insufficient funds.
Generally auto-debit / emandate failure charges are 500-800 INR in most indian banks

You can ask HDFC to share the exact link where 4999 is mentioned, or contest them. Since you're still paying 900 GST.

Fight would have been easy with 3 days grace if this was due not paid thing. But this is autopay not entertained due to balance and nothing much can be done.

Person should be happy that they reversed charges except GST which in most cases wont be reversed. I hope he doesn't repeat mistake again. Keep balance atleast a week before your autopay due date and bill amount. It should be 10K more.

Some people even do mistake of transferring funds same date like in morning of auto-pay date but technically the balance should be there 24-48 hours before that as banks push auto-pay command well in advance.

Yeah I have never understood the mentality of "oh my God, it's my fault, I made a mistake, bank charged me for my mistake. Let me make a warning to everyone that (for some reason) the bank is bad ?!?!? And i will fight with the bank for a refund"
