Hi,

My salary is close to 1.5 Lakhs/month. I have following cards and all are LTF.

HDFC Regalia (for international lounge acess)
IDFC Select (have Salary Account also)
Amazon Pay
Axis Flipkart
Axis Indian Oil (Rupay and Fuel)
HSBC Platinum (have Salary Account also)

None of these cards have more than 5 Lakhs limit. No bank is offering limit enhancement/upgrades.

Are these cards enough or should I relook at this portfolio? Any super premium cards I can get easily? Which card should I use as default?
Can someone help?

I am looking for rewards/cashback and not airmiles (I hardly travel by air).
I would like to know whether I have best cards for my salary?
Since I have relationship with 5 banks now. I am not keen on new relationship.

I can't close any of the above also.

What are your spends like? Online/offline - What are seeking - rewards/cashback/airmiles?
ICICI/Kotak/AU provides good limits and LE.
  • For a 1.5L salary - you can get ICICI Rubyx LTF.
  • You can get an AU card LTF via swipe-up program.
  • You can get Sbi Simplyclick/save - 590rs
  • Kotak League platinum LTF/Kotak Mojo/Zen (Mojo/Zen LTF - if you have an account and good MAB)
  • IndusInd Legend LTF

get sbi card, if not interested in bank dicsounts on flipkart or amazon then go for cashback card as it is still very good even after devaluations, cashback card can replace flipkart card and amazon card,
but keep amazon card as icici is really good in giving LE, you can get other icici card with same limit if you want in future

You can also try amex cards (if you need referral, pm me)

Thank you for this! I spend online and offline, but not so heavily. I am looking for rewards/cashback and not airmiles (I hardly travel by air).

Thank you! None of them are ready to upgrade. Regalia - not using much
Flipkart - kind of default due to 1.5% cashback
Indian oil - only for fuel
Amazon - mostly on Amazon
HSBC - very new card. Will not be using much due to poor rewards.
IDFC - not using much. Took with intention to upgrade to wealth. But, they are not doing.

Which card should I use as default?

5-6 lakhs. I never calculated actually. But, using cards will be my first priority, then UPI and cash

Since you are looking for straight cashback, you should add SBI CashBack card to your portfolio. It gives good cashback on many transactions and decent on most. Also go for LTF cards of whichever bank cards you don't have to avail offer/cashback during offers.
