Also, they need to provide the benefits for once before they withdraw. Else, it's a simple case of misseling the product.Even for withdrawal of benefits, there should be an official email intimation to all customers.

This is possible? If they scammed us, then scam them in return. If you have an FD of amount X, create an additional FD of ₹1000 to increase your limit by ₹900. Then, withdraw the original FD of amount X. This way, you can keep the card with just a ₹900 FD.

Regarding ott benefits on select cc
How does this scam them? You only end up reducing your limit, and giving up on your 'non-existent' select benefits. This is possible?
Please share the way to do it, I am done with them aswell
Yeah I guess you're right. How does this scam them? You only end up reducing your limit, and giving up on your 'non-existent' select benefits.
Can do this, though.why can't we file a complaint to RBIO? it's a Clear case for misseling.
Yes, you are correct, but now you also have an Select card with lounge access, golf, spa, health checkup, etc.How does this scam them? You only end up reducing your limit, and giving up on your 'non-existent' select benefits.
Mera thought process hi alag hai bhai 😅. I am planning to close my practically LTF PNB Select card too, and switch to paid Axis Airtel Rupay CC. I’d rather have some useful benefits on my card, than all useless ones.Yes, you are correct, but now you also have an Select card with lounge access, golf, spa, health checkup, etc.
Select debit card themselves cost around a grand. Having one for almost free is pretty sweet even without the OTT benefit.
Ps: I don't know if this will work, the MITC does not mention maintaining a persistent FD of 115K for Select but there is a possibility of them just blocking and issuing a new Plat card.
PPs : If you have spent more than 270 rupees, having an FD of 1K may actually hurt your Credit score.
My point is - all of us should do a realistic and subjective assessment of whether we really want a benefit or not, as opposed to simply accumulating them. Kabhi kabhi it’s better to avoid card fee, or other criteria surrounding card’s issuance, despite having disproportionately higher benefits.Mera thought process hi alag hai bhai 😅. Golf - main khelta nahi hoon. I’ll think about it when I get older 😅. Abhi tennis, badminton, kabaddi etc. khelta hoon. Moreso, i have other cards with golf benefits.
Gym - I prefer taking annual memberships which come out to be fairly cheap. Ek mahine gym karke fir sochna agle mahine kya karenge is not my style.
Health check-up - saal mein ek baar karana hota hai. Plus major test centres anyways give massive discounts (often 1+1). No need to keep card for that.
Spa - with the specific spa tie-ups, I have to take out a “day” just for this..just like how grandparents used to have a “bank day” - a full day dedicated only to bank work 😅. Seems unnecessary. I don’t care for spa much..and even if I need one, I prefer booking at a nearby location, or at home using UC or other apps.
Lounge access - seems like a gimmick considering how much an average person flies per year 😅. Anyway, I have premium DCs/ CCS to get them for free. I have never used the PNB car for this purpose yet.
On the contrary, Airtel ka bill har mahine aata hai and has to be paid. This is non-negotiable 😅.
Hope this conveys!
Baat toh correct hai dost. Firse rewards ke moh maya main aagyi thi mein 🤦♂️My point is - all of us should do a realistic and subjective assessment of whether we really want a benefit or not, as opposed to simply accumulating them. Virtual and physical have different card details? One More thing to scam them. Only applicable for virtual card holders.
After redeeming all vouchers through virtual card. Apply for physical card, new card details will be updated instantly and now you can redeem all vouchers once again.
If you opted for only virtual card then after applying for physical card you will get different details.Virtual and physical have different card details?
@ninad_tha : On a lighter note, change the name of this thread to (Not so) Stable Money: Revenge Ideas 😅.
Weird! Anyways, you've found a good hack 🙂 Yalgaar ho!If you opted for only virtual card then after applying for physical card you will get different details.
