I have a Regalia Gold card, received last June/July. The card limit is only 2 lakhs, but I have spent more than 8 lakhs in the last 9 months. Would it make sense to ask for a limit enhancement to the customer care, or would it be better to ask for an upgrade?

- Although my salary meets the criteria for Regalia Gold, it does not meet the criteria for DCB/ Infinia.
- I have ICICI/AMEX/Axis with 7 lakhs limit each.
- Never got a limit enhancement offer from HDFC.
- Never got an upgrade offer.
- The existing Regalia Gold card was received after applying online via the HDFC website. It was rejected initially, but a mail to customer care asking for the reason for rejection resulted in them giving this card.
