PNB renewed card

Hello everyone,
My pnb debit card is expiring in in feb 24 i.e, this month and i have already received the renewed debit card on 15-2-24. But the renewed card came is rupay classic and i need rupay platinum. i applied rupay platinum card through branch yesterday and it should come in a week.
Now i want to know that whether i need to call customer care to close the renewed card that already come or it will get automatically closed upon receiving the platinum card. I also want to confirm that will pnb charges any fees for the renewed card that already come although i have not set it pin etc.

And obviously, if you don't want to pay have to cancel it. Better wait till you activate platinum card and transact then do the work needed for classic card.
