@DocFixIt
First thing you should know PNB Rupay Select DC charges - Rs. 500/- Issuance, Rs. 750/- Annual maintainance

As per eligibiltiy, Rupay select Debit card can be given to "Customers maintaining QAB Rs. 50,000/- or more"

If you are not maintaing it there are other ways-
1. Go to Branch and write an appliation to provide you a Rupay select Debit card mention that you are okay with Issuance charge of Rs. 500/- and Annual maintainance charges of Rs. 750/-

2. If they deny it, fund your account above 50k and write an application to upgrade your savings account variant to PNB Elite Premium. If they agree, this might take few days to reflect. You will get a Rupay select DC automatically. If not, raise the request via...

Hey doc
Pls reply
I have completed kotak milestone but 9.5 months left
Is there any way I can redeem milestone benefit and start a afresh?

I have kotak 5k fd card issued in dec 23 and have completed milestone of 75k
Not much idea of kotak milestone.
I will say now do 50k fd & move to icici
Take their platinum chip card.
You will get apay before 21 .
Might take 3-6+ month to trigger .. card based approval for apay in application.

+ Keep kotak at bay ..hang it dry ..
U will recieve l.e post 6 month

To be fair myCards is a separate pwa. Basic credit card functionality like seeing outstanding amount, transactions and payments can be done with hdfc banking app.
I am only talking with respect to basic functionality. 🫡
I think basic functionality is to be able to manage Card controls and per transaction limits on the fly, for more cautious credit card users who use it on an ad hoc basis. the entire otp based system is outdated and buggy when compared to any other top bank - Icici, Axis or even banks like Idfc.

On that front you're right 👍.
I never really used transactions restrictions on the fly.
Try using indusind for while, you might change the ranking. When indusind goes down, both banking and cc controls goes down

Just wanted to quote that even though hdfc app doesn't have the tons of options like icici app or sleek ui like neo banks, it is pretty stable, fast and uptime is 99% for me.
Using for past 10 years.
It gets the job done for all common bank needs like fund transfers and bill payments 24x7.
PSU banks(bob, pnb etc) partially shuts the app server at night time 😕
In private banks, indusind leads the chart from the bottom for me.
Top the charts for sluggishness 😢
Yes, thats the only reason I'm staying with them from past 10 years. Not faced a single downtime till this date!
While imobile boasts so many features but not a single day goes by when their server throws you one or another error. Axis is quite stable too, moving towards hdfc way.
