ICICI Coral RuPay card getting 1 reward point for every ₹200 spent instead of getting 2 reward points for every ₹100.

I recently got my pre-approved ICICI Coral RuPay LTF credit card. I've done four transactions with it already, but I noticed that the reward points were credited for none of the transactions.

The bottom card in the below screenshot is the Platinum Visa one, whose reward structure is the same as that of Coral RuPay. And, as you can see, the reward point is credited for the single transaction I did with it.

Anybody else experiencing it? I'll try to raise a complaint if it continues to happen in the future.

EDIT: It appears that for the Coral RuPay credit card, they are providing 1 reward point for every ₹200 spent (i.e., 0.5% reward rate) instead of providing 2 reward points for every ₹100 spent (i.e. 2% reward rate).

EDIT 2 (08-May-2024): It looks like the problem has been resolved automatically without any complaint. I'm getting correct reward points now.

Did they stopped the reward system? Coz earlier they were giving 1 reward points on 200rs spent and 2 reward points for 100rs spent on food and dining category. But starting from April, I'm not receiving any reward points on transactions upto 2k..

I only use it for UPI based transactions and I am getting reward points as usual. 2 RP per Rs 100 spend.

From Apr, I am not getting rewards for even transactions above 2k. No rewards at all on Coral Visa as well as Rupay. Earlier Visa was working fine.

For UPI, I can understand.. why did they stopped for Visa card. I stopped using their cards after I receieved Amazon pay card

did you get rp for milestone anytime in your card?....coz cc told that one has to wait till anniversary year to get finished to be eligible for milestone rp of max 10k points.

Bill generated only txns rewards credited. No milestone points were credited although i have completed milestone for 10K points in previous billing cycle. So after card anniversary year we will get milestone points. Care agent whom i spoke to don’t have even this knowledge i guess.

yea...when I spoke with them...they didn't even know this card had milestone rewards...

I used to get bonus points for completing milestones in the same month itself when I was using Coral Visa. So, @ccdc @cleverpappu you need to drop a mail to managingdirector@icicibank.com

(Seems like they forgot to integrate milestone benefit in the Coral Rupay)
