How to apply IDBI/LIC Credit Card?

Has anybody applied/received the IDBI LIC co-branded rupay credit card?
This card is issued as LTF with Rupay Select varient and was intrested to get it since I don't hold a rupay cc.

P.S One is required to be a LIC policy holder/customer

Couple of reasons:

1) Card can be applied only via LIC Office
2) LIC Sales team not really aware of this card
3) Requirement of LIC Policy with premium of > 30K

I read it's to be applied from the bank with lic documents

Nope, one person got this card, just few months ago.

Card also working on IDBI bank offers - sometimes Amazon offer 10% upto 500 cashback on IDBI bank Credit card.
And other sites like few months back 15% off offer on tata Cliq, last month IDBI offer on bigbasket 10% upto ₹500 off etc.
upto 20% off on easymytrip offer for IDBI Credit card but last month expired.

In short, all IDBI bank offer working on this LIC RuPay Credit card as well as RuPay credit card offers too.

Apply process -

IDBI saving account is not required. Card also eligible for LIC policy holders (sometimes LIC agents are not aware about this info and they will tell you card is eligible only for LIC employees or IDBI saving account holders)

30k premium for 3 years + if salaried: 30k net for basic card, 67k net for higher variant. Business persons - ITR with income computation and 4 lac 80k taxable income. IDBI a/c is not mandatory but apply process 100% offline.

Contact LIC Card area managers (i already shared LIC Cards managers contact number link in my above comment) they will help you to get the card, if LIC branches are not aware about this card or reject to issue this card.

Last thing, IDBI bank is too slow, they will take 2-3 months to issue the card, after your document submit.

I recently applied for this card and I got a call for vkyc on 9th November. I can also see a CIBIL enquiry on 14th November. But no update since then

online apply, only get axis lic card. Your CIBIL enquiry from IDBI bank or Axis bank ?

I applied through LIC agent from whom I have LIC policies. There is no online way of applying for it. Also, I specifically asked him to get IDBI form as LIC mostly knows only about Axis variant. So my CIBIL enquiry is from IDBI only

Rejected because already have 2 Axis CC.

778 criteria doesn't make sense really. And it's not like they are providing some super elite card like Aurum, etc.

It's been a month since VKYC was done for IDBI LIC card. Still no update. Customer care say they have no way to track the application. I can only try asking the LIC branch I applied from.
