HDFC Infinia Bharat RuPay Credit Card Announced

i asked chat gpt to name govt employees getting above 3.5 lakh:

No regular government post in India (civil services, defence, judiciary, constitutional) officially crosses ₹3.5 lakh/month in cash salary.

Who can actually cross ₹3.5 lakh/month?

The only government-linked positions where take-home exceeds ₹3.5 lakh/month are:

  1. PSU Chairmen & Managing Directors (CMDs) – e.g. ONGC, NTPC, IOCL, Coal India.
    • Fixed salary is ~₹2.5–3 lakh/month, but with performance-linked incentives (PLIs), variable pay, and bonuses, actual credited monthly pay often goes beyond ₹3.5–4 lakh.
  2. PSU Functional Directors in Maharatna companies (Finance, HR, Operations, etc.).
    • Similar to CMDs, incentives take them above ₹3.5 lakh/month.
  3. Top-level employees of RBI and SEBI (technically statutory/regulatory bodies, not core “government service”).
    • RBI Governor’s official salary is ~₹2.5 lakh, but senior executives (Executive Directors, CGMs) sometimes get allowances that push their credited monthly pay higher.

To be precise:

  • IAS/IPS/IFS officers → Max ₹2.5 lakh/month.
  • Defence Chiefs (CDS, Army/Navy/Air Force) → ₹2.5 lakh/month.
  • Judiciary (CJI, SC Judges) → ₹2.5–2.8 lakh/month.
  • Election Commissioners, CAG, UPSC Chairperson → ~₹2.5 lakh/month.
➡️ None cross ₹3.5 lakh/month in fixed cash salary.

So if the salary critaria is same then we wont be getting this too.

If we look strictly at cash salary credited to account, almost no government servant in India gets above ₹3.5 lakh/month. But if we consider perks + allowances + non-cash benefits, several top positions exceed that value.

So if the salary critaria is same then we wont be getting this too.
As far I knew one of my uncle who is a professor as well as major withdraws a total of more than 6 lakhs a month with all allowances etc.
