Huge devaluation alert!
Axis bank devalued their multiple co-branded credit cards.
Purchases made towards government services, insurance, education, and rental payments shall not be eligible for Cashback/reward on Airtel Axis, Samsung Axis, Freecharge Axis, LIC Axis and Axis SpiceJet co-branded credit cards from 10th December 2023.

One positive thing is, axis vistara co-branded credit cards are not included in the list.

They don't. They'll just ask for the reason and then close it. Axis don't care.

I got the (Airtel) card only 15 days ago. Closed the other two cards (legacy, paid cards), after receiving the new.

Also, my family network is really big. Having 10+ numbers to recharge. Half of them are Airtel. Been doing recharge for years. I hope Axis doesn't flag mine as commercial usage.

Please allow me to use it for another 11 months (or until Axis bans me).

To reduce the risk of ban, try to get another card in the name of one of your 10+ family members..

Ab Atlas aur Vistara cards hi bache hai firing line se. Iske baad SBI Card hi sahara hai government spends ke liye.

The process is already started. Also, I am not going to risk it. So, I am going to increase the usage slowly, rather than looting the benefits in one go.

need to avoid confronting the system.. instead try to harmonize with the system.

It already has a spend cap of 1200. Why would they close? 1200 is 1 person's monthly broadband bill

Government services, education bhi genuine spends hi hai unless tum masterji ko 10 saal ka advance payment ek saath kar rhe ho. Kyu @Abhishek012? 😂

Han lekin mother terisa aur Gandhi ji ke marg pe kam hai aur amrish puri/crimemastergogo jada hai

I'll take core cash back anyday over full devaluation, would you like airtel cash back further reduced to 10% or get rid of other stuff
