AU Bank application rejected, what to do now?

AU bank has rejected my credit card application stating some "Internal Reason". However, I think it has happened because of wrong office address which is written in my application (The address is not wrong, it's just that they picked my old office address from CIBIL and didn't bother to ask me for the updated address).
Now they are asking me to wait for 6 more months.

Is there anything I can do? Do I need to wait for 6 months more?

I’m trying but i’m facing this error, any thing to do from here? I called CS and they told me to email with screenshots and that they will help but looking at your posts it’s not giving me much confidence.

Hi, recently aplied for Zenith+ and got rejected with a vague reason stating something like internal policy and eligibility. I think it can be income criteria but can't be sure as others have stated that they got this card even though they didn't fulfil the income criteria. The message also showed that I can try again after 6 months. What do you suggest?

There is some more to it. Initially I faced some issues/errors with website. After few attempts I successfully moved to the fourth stage (before Video KYC), where I was shown that I am eligible for Zenith+ and my approved credit limit and before I can click on next button to go to VKYC or make a note of the amount, a pop-up box showed that my application was not approved since it did not meet the bank internal policy criteria. Please reapply after 6 months. How would I know if I am eligible even after 6 months if I don't know the exact reason. Reached out to creditcardsupport and again got a vague response. Any suggestions on this as well?

Tell the bank representative to share actual reason siting RBI guidelines.
In my case they rejected because I had more than 7 active cards.

That is exactly what I asked them but they gave a generic reason again. I am thinking if I must escalate to next level or wait for 7 days as the website states. Also the next level escalation email id is not clear. Does anybody know?
This was years ago, AU rejected my application and I escalated to RBI and they approved the card few days later.
Straight after rejection or did you go through the escalation matrix? I can't find the second level email id on their website. And were you confident that you fulfilled the eligibility criteria?
