Earlier my friend was getting MB+ LTF offer pre approved , he decided to wait for millenia. Now he gets all paid pre approved offers, that too with decreased limit.

Is it pre approved card, or approval based on application ?

There is no conversion criteria as of now (as told by customer care to me), they just want you to spend.

Even there was another instance, when I blocked my Millenia DC before dispatch, and the customer care said they will not charge for it, but I was charged 590 a month later.

Even customer care told me it was a paid card, but later on escalation they told me it was applied as LTF itself, no conversion needed. That's why I don't trust HDFC customer care's words.

It it might me LTF afterall. They might just want to make you transact more.

HDFC clearly mentions if there is a fee waiver/LTF condition after you login with phone number and PAN and select the card. If you get something like this, it is Unconditional LTF, else not.

While applying the card, it shows if there is a condition for LTF/FYF or Unconditional LTF. Did you get anything like that ? Did you speak with the branch ?

Ask the rep. to mail you the LTF offer, then take the card, and then escalate the LTF promise of rep. with proof to the hdfc card team. They may convert to LTF, if not then cancel.

Yes, that is what I said, the card was processed on C2C basis. But I asked them to give me a higher credit limit, for that I gave them my income proof as supporting docs. If you apply fresh without c2c, your card will not be processed as LTF.
