Hi
I just applied for Airtel Axis card via a secondary number. Video kyc via aadhar also completed. Gave my pan, aadhar and email in airtel app.

I have two queries.

1. Already have a myzone card. When I applied for it, my aadhar had an old address.
When I applied for airtel axis card, I had updated my aadhar with a new address in the meantime.
Will this cause any issues with existing axis kyc?
2. Will I be able to change the contact number for my airtel axis card?
3. If it gets accepted, will it cause any issues with my current axis myzone credit card and axis account details and with CIBIL?

Thanks

Applied using an old Vi number of mine (no offer for current Vi number) on the 13th... Number got changed for everything on 20th, and finally approved today, virtual card issued. Limit seems to have gotten a decent increase too (aggregate increased, but old cards are still at old limit). Will change back the number once I get the card.

I'm considering getting the card in family member name itself. But, just last month I got them an addon card (closed savings account long back, no existing Axis cards, but they have Citi card even now), if I apply in their name, will it be rejected till the addon is closed?
Anybody have an answer for this? Will having an Axis add-on card prevent getting new Axis card in their own name?

not sure
In app it says aggregate limit is still the same as before.
So does that mean no credit limit increase?
Technically credit limit has decreased due to shared limit I guess.
Yes, no increase I suppose. Practically there's no change in limit, since you'd have used the same amount in one card instead of the other.

And they all get reported separately in CIBIL, so your total limit would be increased there.

Edit: Btw, you said card was delivered, right? Why do you not know the limit?
Reedit: Delivered at home and you're at work maybe. 🤔

Yeah card delivered to new address due to Aadhar update. Yet to pick it up.
Activated the card in app via otp though.

Was able to change the number from the Axis app. Used chat support to change bill cycle.

Also, got a message informing me that the limit across all cards has been updated to match the new limit without having to contact anybody. 😀

Bit of an update regarding credit limit.
It seems like both myzone and airtel card have separate limits.
Used both cards and received different credit limit remaining sms for each card. Looks like its 2.5L for each card.
App layout seems confusing, says aggregate limit is 2.5L

It will be shared.
I have 3 Axis Cards , individually it shows separate limit in cards while in CC Menu aggregate is shown.
