How to Open Account Online:

• Open https://www.sbmbank.co.in/# and in top right, Open Savings Account button.

• Once you got the card, you need to set your card PIN and manage card usage(Enable Ecom, POS etc) through SBM Net Banking or SBM Mobile Banking(Because their ATM presence is very low and offline branches are very less)

Vkyc done at 11. Got a confirmation mail by 6.

Vkyc in the morning and was able to see my account in the evening.. welcome mail came at night 3 am.. @AritraSaha told me trick to check if account is opened or not.. just try to register for upi on paytm/gpay to see if it fetches your new account

Nothing special bhai to be honest. Just for collection. Few positives for this account, such as, unlimited atm transaction. If RBI ever allows forex transaction, then unlimited atm transaction worldwide and zero markup. Also International lounge will also work then.

Can you send the link for charges for this zero balance account?

I guess it's RBI rule that every bank has to clearly mention schedule of charges on their website.

I got mail few days back.
I will try to search and if possible I will update here ,( why should any bank provide unlimited transactions on atms<bcz banks paid fees behind each and every transaction> that too on zero mab account) .
