Steps for getting invite for RBL Zomato Edition CC

Initially I heard from a youtuber that I can request the bank for the card but even he was not sure about the approach.

Step 1: I posted a tweet tagging RBL bank and RBL care team that I am interested in their Zomato Edition Card. The bank replied that it is invite based card and wait for the invite to get the card.



Step 2: I noticed a reply from Edition team, which I suppose is the official account by Zomato to DM them my registered phone and email address. Initially I ignored the reply since it was already deferred by the banking partner. But, then I thought of giving it a try and replied to Edition team with my details on DM.



Step 3: Exactly after 4 days of providing my zomato account details the Edition team reverted back and asked me check my Zomato account after 24-48 hours for the invite. This morning when I checked my Zomato app, I saw the invite visible in Money tab.

Step 4: Just provided my PAN details in the Zomato app and within 2 minutes my Credit Limit was displayed. I completed my KYC with the bank and within 30 minutes received mail that my virtual card is active to use.

I have tried my best to jot down the steps and all the necessary things which I did to get the card. Please feel free to ask thing regarding the same. I will be more than happy to help.

yes, and it's under process, they told me it might take 7 to 10 days

I contacted rbl cc they said me there is no such upgrade on your card
I already have a shoprite card

If you already have an existing RBL CC, then DO NOT apply for Zomato Edition CC, it will be declined. Get the invite, then Contact RBL Support first.
However, in some cases RBL support is denying to give a LTF upgrade, and giving a paid upgrade. (PS: This is not my screenshot)

Contacted RBL Support they saying we cannot upgrade from your existing cc.
They also said no problem sir you can apply for zomato cc also you can hold 2 rbl cc no problem....
I am damn sure they are lying... card will get declined...
I am thinking to close existing rbl cc and apply for zomato fresh... because if I apply now directly it will anyway get declined.

Hi all, I have followed the tips mentioned here to get the Zomato classic card (Twitter chat) and I have received an invite. I have a few queries. Please help me out -

1. I'm currently unemployed but have a good cibil (790) and 3 other credit cards. Will I be grilled about my income specifically in the video kyc process? Any income proofs will be asked?

2. I'm seeing a lot of ppl here getting credit limit of Rs 2L+ but somehow I have only got Rs. 60k limit. Why such a low limit? Will I be able to get a credit limit raise in the future? How is RBL bank with regards to credit limit increases? (Actually, I'm not too bothered about the limit, just curious)

3. What are the chances of my application getting rejected??

My Paisa On Demand and Edition card was approved 10 days apart and both got delivered almost at the same time. I don't think there is any issue holding two RBL CC.

Brother, can I ask for some info:

1. Which was approved first? POD earlier, then Zomato?
2. What are your cc limits for both (tell approx if you don't want to tell exact)? (mine POD Limit is 2.25L)
3. Are both limits shared or separate?

2. Yes ... You should get enhancements depending on your spending
3. If you are in a serviceable area, it shouldn't be rejected, given your Cibil is also pretty good.

BTW how did your Cibil become 790?

As for my cibil, I honestly don't know bro 😂
I have a joint loan account with my mom for which she does the emi payment. And I maintain my credit cards properly. Nothing other than this. Credit history is only 2 years old.
