If I paid rent via Cred/Paytm, will I receive normal edge reward points ? 6% of total amount paid ?
Additionally, is there any way or app to pay to get it counted towards monthly spends ?

Thanks in advance

I use Payzapp+Redgirrafe combination.
Advantages
1. Lowest charges(below 1%)
2.Eligible for Normal edge rewards points(as confirmed by many TF members)
3.Eligible for monthly milestone(MCC comes under insurance category)
4.Payment settles down in 3 to 4 days(personal experience)
5.No rejections or payment failures till now(personal experience)

This all are valid till date. Dont know when the things will get change.

TIPS
  • Indirect Wallet Loads (e.g. loading money in Paytm wallet via Uber at 0% charge) aren't categorised under MCC code of 6540 most of the times and are counted towards Regular ER Points, monthly milestone and annual milestone.
  • Rent Payments made through RedGiraffe and PayZapp 2.0 combo are categorised as insurance spends and thus can be counted in monthly milestone and annual milestone.
  • Advance payments done on EMIs like Education Loan, Car Loan, etc. are not considered as EMI Transactions. EMI Transactions are specifically those transactions which have been made on card and converted into EMI.
  • Fuel Transactions between Rs. 400 and Rs. 4000 are awarded a fuel surcharge waiver of 1% and thus are not awarded Regular ER Points. So to gain Regular ER Points, do a transaction of at-least Rs. 4001.

I am compiling a list of exclusions in a single thread that apply on Axis Magnus card as these are scattered around in multiple threads on the forum.

I'll keep updating this list. You guys are also welcomed to let me know about any addition or subtraction from this list.
is loading paytm via uber still considered non-wallet?

It is mentioned in the list that fuel purchases above INR 4,000 will get reward points. But could anyone please clarify whether the purchase will also be counted towards monthly and yearly milestones? Thank you.
Made a transaction for INR 6,000 for fuel at Indian Oil. Received reward points for the same.

If I pay rent using Magnus through Freecharge (Rs.25000) will it count towards Rent or Wallet? Any experienced Technofiners here? And what will be the overall damages? 2.18%?

RedGiraffe+PayZapp combo is getting listed under insurance spends through Magnus. I'm not sure about the actual percentage but in my case I end up paying Rs.104(hardly 0.5% of my actual rent) extra using this.
