How To Get HDFC Bank Infinia & DCB Credit Card Easily - New & Upgrade

HDFC Bank Infinia is the best credit card available in India for frequent air travellers. HDFC Bank market this credit card as an invite only card, but in reality you can actually apply for this card.
Official Eligible Income Criteria For HDFC Infinia- 43L ITR (depends on location)
DCB - 24L ITR
If you don't have ITR of 43L/24L you can still get HDFC Infinia/DCB, you have to fulfil some other criteria.
This information is not available publicly on HDFC Bank website.
Hidden Criteria For "New HDFC Bank Infinia Credit Card" - You can apply for new HDFC Bank Infinia credit card using "Card To Card" method, you need a minimum 1 year old other bank credit card with minimum 10 lakhs credit limit for this.
"New HDFC Bank Diners Club Black Credit Card" - You can apply for new HDFC Bank DCB credit card using "Card To Card" method, you need a minimum 1 year old other bank credit card with minimum 5 lakhs credit limit for this.

If your already have a HDFC Bank credit card, then you have to upgrade your existing card to Infinia/DCB,
For Upgrade To Infinia-
1. You need minimum 8 lakhs credit limit on your existing HDFC Bank Credit card
2. Send an email to- grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com & request for card upgrade, fill up and attach credit card upgrade form with the email.
*Credit card upgrade form (New Version) - attached with this thread.

For Upgrade To DCB-
1. You need minimum 5 lakhs credit limit on your existing HDFC Bank Credit card
2. Send an email to- grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com & request for card upgrade, attach card upgrade form with the email.

Update- HDFC Bank asking for 10 lakhs limit on your existing credit card for infinia upgrade.



So, don't be surprised if hdfc bank ask you for 10L limit. 😃

You can get infinia directly also with salary slips. If they deny, apply regalia card to card after closing your moneyback. you'll get it LTF

Tried doing it multiple times. It did not work. I have a salary account with HDFC.

Can any one help me on this? what does it really means when it provides 12,500 points , how are they useable like we already paid fee of Rs. 12,500 or whenever we pay, now we got 12500 points which is equal to benefit of RS.12500 can they be converted into statements credits and effective its Rs 0 for the card?

Not statement credit, the points can be used to book air tickets /hotels etc at a value of 1 Rs/point.

Also you can redeem it for Tanishq vouchers at a value of 1 Rs per RP.

These provide the best value of 12500 rs !

Infinia is an AirMiles card, RPs accumulated people use for travel and hotel bookings mostly.

Cash credit shouldn't be opted for Infinia.

Others are available, but the value of 1 RP will drastically reduce from 1 rupee to maybe 0.5 Rs or even lesser.
So would not recommend it.

Even Apple products can be taken at 1 point = 1Rs through the Infinia smartbuy portal

Hey Family !! Got a upgrade approval from business moneyback to diners club privilege but they saying only first year free any suggestions how to make it ltf ?? My business moneyback is ltf got approval grievance redressal team. Kindly suggest as soon as possible need to reply them also should i accept upgrade or not with first year free

I got upgraded to DCB from Regalia in Feb 2023 as FYF.
It was later that I got to know about the Alumni offer - as per which I should get the card LTF.

Has anyone been able to change the status of existing paid DCB card to LTF based on Alumni program? If yes, can you please let me know as to how you went about it?

Tried to email them to convert my existing paid DCB to LTF (used the Alumni program reasoning). They denied my request. If anyone knows how to convert it to LTF then pls let me know.

I've applied for DCP->DCB upgrade via alumni route.

No need to send any physical form. Two of my friends got upgraded just by sending mail to PriorityRedressal.CreditCards@hdfcbank.com.

One friend had Diners club privilege LTF and other had Regalia LTF. Both had credit limit less than 4L and neither of them had the ITR of 21L. Still they got the upgrade via alumni route.

Yes one of my friend had got Paid DCB last year. He got that converted to LTF by sending mail to PriorityRedressal.CreditCards@hdfcbank.com.
