Indus delight zero saving account

1) 4-5 months but i ignored it , didn't check.
2) barely used 2000-3000 per month
3) too many spam calls from Indus telling me that i have pre approved loan/cc , but no mention of the variant. (I ignored all the calls)
then i got email from indusconnect mentioning LTF legend cc with complimentary eazydiner membership. (I ignored thinking it's a scam)
Finally after 3 month of ignoring Constant calls and emails i decided to go to the official website and search for pre approved offer section i found an option at the very bottom of the Indusind official wesite for pre approved offers (attaching image).
Checked it, and there it was with 4 variants available as pre approved , i was given to choose.
4) 3 lacs.
This is awesome!
I hope it's ok if I have a few questions for you too! (Or anyone for that matter)

1. So If I were to open an IndusInd Delight Acc, there's a probability of getting a pre-approved CC?
2. Is it necessary to create an account via branch offline and build relationships, or can I do it online?

I plan on just opening the Delight Acc and probably adding 2-5k every month to it (no withdrawals, only deposits... Will use as main savings acc)

Out of context, but would something similar work for HDFC too? - Creating a Savings acc and maintaining MAB, to possibly get a CC offer?

1.) yes, indusind gives pre-approved offers for cc/loan , i started receiving sms from 4th/5th month of opening delite acc.
2.) you can build relationships online, not necessary to go to the branch.
a friend of mine has a hdfc regular account (10k monthly mab), opened online (vkyc) never visited branch, got pre approved, (Not LTF) CC offer after 90 days of opening. (her cibil score was 801 at that time)

Got it! Thanks for the response bro! Really Appreciate it!

Will go ahead with the IndusInd Acc then, and then eventually HDFC too to use as a primary acc...

I guess it'll take a while to get a preapproved CC coz my credit history is only 6 months old so far and score is barely 755 :(

Imo yes , according to my usage - Bigbasket per month , you'll get Rs. 150-200 off , on order value of minimum Rs.1500 to Rs2000.
+Reward points every transaction (don't think wallet load counts).
+100 reward points every quarter. I.e 400 free reward points per year.
You can claim cashback in your savings account for reward points without paying any redemption fee.
Minimum 500 reward points needed to claim cashback.
1rp = 0.35 paise , so 500=Rs.175
So even at a minimum usage of as low as 1500 per month on BB groceries you'll save Rs. 150 per month. And minimum Rp collection as low as 500 anually you'll get Rs. 175 cashback.
So if you calculate 150x12 = Rs. 1800 savings anually + Rs. 175 for per 500Rp.
=Rs. 1975 benefit for Spending Rs.590.

not to mention the 20% swiggy discount upto Rs. 200 on minimum Rs. 600 order. (You can save Rs. 100-200 every once in a while) 🤗

Sorry for the long elaborated answer, i tried to make it as clear as possible.
Is this card worth if not spent on big basket? When u say reward points on every spend..what kind of spends are covered? I am planning to open this account for fd and high interest rate as i will park my emergency fund in this account..also once funds increases over the period of time i would refrain debit card usage..will it be still worth it ?

It also gives discount on swiggy& instamart too.
Besides for a zero balance account with decent customer service i think it's worth payying 590 anually. Beside there are high chances for pre approved ltf legend cc. For Debit card All spends except wallet loading are covered.

Considering that i have ICICI salary account debit card and hdfc platinum debit card is it still beneficial..coz i use axis ace card for offline spends when reqd..
